Motorola Bionic update on the way

News - By: SPBlast! Staff - February 07, 2012

Motorola has announced an update is on the way for the Bionic. Traditionally, updates come within a couple of weeks after Verizon publishes the changelog, and they just published it. The 5.9.902 update does add some bloatware in the form of V-Cast Apps and Amazon MP3, but it also adds stability to the Bionic. Look for improvements in data connectivity, WiFi mobile hotspot, and overall device stability.

The update is 57.6MB in size and should be available to everyone within a couple of weeks. DroidLife notes that if you are part of the Motorola Feedback Network and have registered your Bionic, or soak tests, you should be able to get the update now.
