Dropbox is running a promotion to encourage people to try the beta version of Dropbox for Android. The new version's biggest feature is automatic uploading of pictures and video. If you don't care about privacy, you can have all of the pictures and video you take on your Android device automatically uploaded to your Dropbox account. With the new Dropbox, your Android phone would effectively work like Apple's iCloud.
Dropbox will give you 500MB of free space for the first picture you take with the new beta version. After that, for every 500MB you automatically upload Dropbox will give you an additional 500MB, up to 5GB.
In addition, Dropbox has dropped the 180MB file size limit on uploads, so you can upload to your heart's content.
To try the beta, download the apk at the link below, or use this QRcode.
