Motorola sold 100,000 XOOM tablets says analyst

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - April 06, 2011

According to Deutsche Bank analysts, Motorola Mobility has sold 100,000 Motorola XOOM units in the first two months of availability. How did the analyst arrive at the 100,000 figure? They used the Android developer site to see how many people are currently using the Honeycomb OS. Motorola has not released official sales figures so we have no way of knowing if the 100,000 number is correct.

While selling 100,000 units in 2 months is definitely short of iPad sales, it is a respectable number, especially at the price point that the XOOM goes for. Time will tell just how successful the XOOM tablet is.
