Angry Birds for Android hits 30 million downloads

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - March 04, 2011

It looks like everyone likes Angry Birds, not just iOS users. The Android version of the popular iOS game was released and it's a hit. The free Android version has been downloaded 30 million times according to Rovio's Peter Vesterbacka.

That's a huge number of people playing the same game. The best part is that people stay interested in the game. According to Vesterbacka, 80 percent of Android users downloaded subsequent updates, indicating that they're still interested in the game. It looks like Angry Birds is a cross platform hit.
