Sprint HTC Hero and Samsung Moment getting Android 2.1 updates

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - April 16, 2010

This is overdue, but it looks like Sprint's Android handsets will finally get an Android 2.1 update in May. The HTC Hero and Samsung Moment both appear in this internal Sprint document which says the 2 Android handsets will be updated in "early May." Until the update comes we would not advise purchasing these older Android handsets. In fact, you might as well wait for the Evo which is due out this summer.

If you've already purchased a Hero or Moment, keep your eyes out for the update.
