Motorola DROID coming to Verizon November 6

It looks like the Motorola DROID will be here very soon. Verizon has announced that the DROID will hit their network on November 6. The DROID will set you back $199 if you sign a contract, and send in the $100 mail-in rebate.

The DROID will drop with major expectations as it includes a 3.7-inch display with 854 x 480 resolution and a 5 megapixel camera. The device also supports Visual Voicemail and will include support for Google Maps Navigation because it runs Android 2.0.

The DROID also includes a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 3G, WiFi, voice-activated search and over-the-air Amazon MP3 downloads. Counting the days...
