Motorola DROID coming to Verizon November 6

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - October 28, 2009

It looks like the Motorola DROID will be here very soon. Verizon has announced that the DROID will hit their network on November 6. The DROID will set you back $199 if you sign a contract, and send in the $100 mail-in rebate.

The DROID will drop with major expectations as it includes a 3.7-inch display with 854 x 480 resolution and a 5 megapixel camera. The device also supports Visual Voicemail and will include support for Google Maps Navigation because it runs Android 2.0.

The DROID also includes a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 3G, WiFi, voice-activated search and over-the-air Amazon MP3 downloads. Counting the days...
