Android Market opens for business

Following in the footsteps of the Apple AppStore, Android Market launched to support the new T-Mobile G1. Users can download applications along with the to run on their Android phone.

There are currently over 50 applications for download but that number will increase dramatically as developers jump in to write software for Android.
