Amazon is about to launch its smartphone tomorrow, and it appears it will be available exclusively on AT&T. According to a report by The Wall Street Journal, Amazon is following in the footsteps of Apple who famously launched the iPhone as an AT&T exclusive 7 years ago.
Amazon has a history with AT&T as they provide the Kindle's 3G connections in the US. Amazon has not advertised their past partnership with AT&T, but it makes sense that they would launch their smartphone on AT&T.
Amazon's smartphone is rumored to have six cameras and some really cool 3D features. BGR reports Amazon’s smartphone will be powered by "a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, and it includes 2GB of RAM and a 4.7-inch 720p display."
We will have to wait until tomorrow to know for sure, but Amazon will likely have another success on their hands. Stay tuned.
