The HTC One has been widely praised, and sets a new bar for what a smartphone should be. As users start to get their hands on the HTC One however, reports of poor battery life are showing up. It remains to be seen whether this is a widespread issue just yet, but battery life is a concern on most smartphones these days.
The HTC One does have a "Power Saver" mode that will reduce consumption in 4 areas - CPU power, display, vibration, and data connection. Turning Power Saver on for CPU and data connection will help the most. Reducing the display brightness on any phone is a smart thing to do as well.
It's a shame that battery power technology has not kept up with the rest of the industry, but so far that's something we have to accept these days.
How's the battery life on your One? Is it a deal breaker?
