Samsung has now confirmed that it will roll out an update to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for all its US Galaxy S3 handsets. There is no official date yet, but the company said the update would roll out "in the coming months." The individual carriers will announce their own dates for the roll out of Jelly Bean. Let's just hope that the update hits before the end of the year. By all accounts, Jelly Bean is a much needed upgrade to keep the S3 on pace with other devices like the Note 2.
