Google's Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) has been out for a couple of months, but new features are still being discovered. ComputerWorld uncovered a new "Experiments" feature in the Gmail App on a Asus Transformer Prime tablet.
The new features show up in version 4.0.3-239410 of the Gmail Android app, but it's not available in all versions of ICS just yet. If you have a Galaxy Nexus, you can try the link below. The new Gmail app has been extracted and posted online. Proceed at your own risk though. We haven't tested the new apk.

The section currently contains two optional features: one that allows Gmail to index the text of your messages in order to provide locally based full-text search, and one that enables drag-and-drop functionality for the "contact chips" used in Gmail as of ICS.
