Google introduces Google Wallet

News - By: SPBlast! Staff - September 18, 2011

There has been so much speculation about mobile payment systems coming to smartphones, but we haven't seen any evidence yet. Google has jumped into the game early and introduced a new mobile payment service for smartphones named, Google Wallet. The service isn't live yet but you can head over to Google.com/wallet to sign up to be notified when it goes live.

There aren't many phones available that have NFC technology so it will be awhile before Google Wallet will take off, but it's nice to see mobile payments turning into a reality.
