In an effort to keep up with the suspected release of the iPhone 5, Google will push up the release of the first Ice Cream Sandwich devices to October. BGR is reporting that it has a source with knowledge of Google's Ice Cream Sandwich plans, and the source is looking at October. Google apparently does not want users with contracts expiring in the September - October timeframe, to jump ship to the iPhone 5. This is all rumor at this point, but we could start seeing the next version of Android sooner than we thought.
