Apple was recently accused of changing the aspect ratio of the Samsung Galaxy 10.1 in evidence photos the company submitted to the court in its case against Samsung. Some accused Apple of trying to make the Galaxy Tab look more similar to the iPad than it actually is. Well here we go all over again because now some are claiming Apple did the same thing to the Galaxy S II smartphone.
Dutch technology site Webwereld pblished new images that suggest Apple may be at it again. The Galaxy S II is both wider and taller than Apple’s iPhone 3GS, yet the image that Apple supposedly submitted makes it look like the two phones are the same.
You can make your own judgement, but there has to be an explanation here. Would Apple really believe that everyone would take the photos at face value and not figure out that the aspect ratio of the photos were different? They would have to know that Samsung would challenge the photos at some point, or simply bring the devices into court at some point. What do you think? Is Apple tampering with evidence?
