Google Nexus Prime launching in October?

News - By: SPBlast! Staff - August 18, 2011

The next pure Google phone, the Nexus Prime, will launch in October if the rumors are correct. BGR reported a few months ago that the new Android 4.0 phone would be released this fall, and now Korea's Electronic Times is jumping on the Prime bandwagon.

Electronic Times says the Nexus Prime will be the first Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich device, and will launch in October. It will supposedly sport a 4.5 inch 720p Super AMOLED HD display. They also claim it will run a 1.5GHz processor.

No other details are known at this time. We have no word on pricing or which carriers will see the Nexus Prime.
