Asus Padfone will ship with Android Ice Cream Sandwich

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - August 13, 2011

The ASUS Padfone that was announced in May has been delayed in order to have it ship with the latest version of Android. According to Alex Sun, head of ASUS’ Personal Mobile Device department, the Padfone will now ship with Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0).

In case you haven't seen the Padfone before, it's a 10.1" tablet with a slot for an Android phone in the back. The phone powers the tablet so you only have your data on one device. The Padfone comes with extra batteries so you don't have to rely solely on your phone's battery.
