BlackBerry PlayBook running Android Apps - Video demo

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - May 06, 2011

RIM has given the BlackBerry PlayBook the ability to run Android Apps via an Android App Player. Once they release the player this summer, you will be able to take advantage of the full catalog of Android Apps. At the recent BlackBerry World 2011, Senior Director of Architecture at RIM, Nedim shows off the PlayBook running Android apps. Even though the apps run in a "player" the end user experience is pretty much the same as you would get on an Android device. The performance looks very snappy.
