Google Docs gets native Android app

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - April 27, 2011

Google has finally released a native Android app for Google Docs. Until now you've had to edit your files in a browser window.

The new Google Docs app does what you'd expect. You can share your docs with your contacts as well as edit and create documents on your smartphone. One of the coolest features of the new app is the ability to take a picture of text and have the app OCR the image so you can edit the text. That's pretty cool!

The App is available for all handsets running Android 2.1 or later. Check it out in the Market or use the QR Code below.
