T-Mobile's Samsung Vibrant is finally getting an update to Android 2.2 Froyo. It's been a long wait for Vibrant users, but there was apparently a technical reason for the delay. According to T-Mobile Chief Marketing Officer Cole Broadman said, "it was a quality control and timing issue," Brodman said. "The biggest challenge is integration and customization."

Broadman told PCMag that the Android 2.2 update will start rolling out on Jan. 21 and will take a couple weeks for everyone to see the update.
