Samsung will supposedly unveil their first Android tablet based on the Galaxy S next month. JoongAng Daily says they have an unnamed "high-ranking official" at the company that let the cat out of the bag. JoongAng Daily reports that Samsung will unveil the Android tablet in Berlin at the IFA consumer electronics show September 3-8.
"We will showcase our latest Smart TV and interchangeable lens camera models at the show," the source said. "We will also showcase our tablet PC for the first time officially."
Not much is known about the Samsung tablet but it is supposed to have a 7" display and a front facing camera.
Apple has had a free ride for the last several months as there haven't been any competing tablets. Here we go...
