How to uninstall Android apps

How To - By: pdaBlast! Staff - August 10, 2010

Having trouble uninstalling an Android app? Uninstalling is not obvious, but don't worry it's easy. For applications you downloaded and installed through the Market you can simply go back to the Market, press "Menu", then "My Apps." There is an uninstall option after you click the app title you want to remove.

If you didn't download your app from the Market you can uninstall via system menus:

  • Go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications
  • Choose the app you want to uninstall
  • Click Uninstall

That's it. Uninstalling is easy in Android.
