Sprint has finally made it official and it looks like the Froyo update for the EVO will start rolling out on August 3rd. We previously heard rumors that the update might be rolling out today, but it looks like we'll have to wait until next week. Although the update will start to roll out on the 3rd, it will take some time for everyone to get it. Sprint says they will provide a download link for those who don't want to wait for the OTA update. Yah!
