Android Market update for Sprint

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - July 26, 2010

The Android Market on the Sprint EVO has been updated. Previously there were three links at the top for Apps, Games, and Downloads. The Downloads link contained all of the apps previously installed on the device.

When launching the Market this morning I found links at the top to be different. Now there are links for Apps, Games, and Sprint. It looks like Sprint is following in Verizon's footsteps and recommending a few apps for their customers that they have screened. There are only 14 apps listed at this time.

I really liked being able to see a list of the apps that I have already downloaded so this new feature will take some getting used to. I can view the downloaded apps via a menu option, but that's not quite as convenient. Oh well.
