Is this the next Droid handset? A blurry picture of a slider phone with Verizon DROID branding is making the rounds. The slider device looks like a Palm Pre or BlackBerry Slider phone. It has a slide down QWERTY keyboard which gives you the best of both worlds - large display and QWERTY keyboard.
Not much else is known about this device but given the branding, it seems likely this thing is headed for Verizon if it is a real prototype. With all the Android phones popping up out there, we're glad to see one with a slide-down QWERTY keyboard.
