EVO OTA Software updates resume

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - June 30, 2010

Sprint launched an OTA software update for the EVO 4G a couple of days ago, but several users reported that it bricked their EVO. The company pulled the update but has re-released it. Apparently after updating once, if you tried to update again the phone didn't know you had already updated and tried to re-apply the update. That caused the bricking.

We're still waiting for an update that will address the screen sensitivity issue. Keeping our fingers crossed.
