Aron Embry of Cedar Hill, Texas claims that his Droid 2 exploded while he was using it. He says there was lots of blood after he heard a loud pop but he didn't feel much pain. He spent four hours in the emergency room and got 4 stiches.

Interestingly the phone still works and Mr. Embry has no permanent hearing loss. What caused the phone to explode? Who knows. Check out the video for this bizarre story.
