Sprint EVO gets Powermat induction charger treatment

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - October 25, 2010

One of the problems with the Powermat induction charging system has been the bulky nature of the chargers you'd have to attach to your phone. It looks like the folks at Powermat have really streamlined the new back cover that you have to use to perform the induction charger. The new back cover looks very similar to the original EVO cover and is a nice change to those bulky backs that Powermat has been famous for.

Check out the video for an unboxing and demo of the Powermat for the Sprint Evo.

You can pick up a mat and charger for the HTC Evo for $59.99.
