Android is here, finally!

Google's Android operating system is finally here in the form of T-Mobile's G1. If you haven't seen the launch video yet it's worth checking out. The T-Mobile G1 is the first official Android phone.

Here are some specs on the G1. It measures 4.6 x 2.16 x 0.63 inches and weighs 5.6 ounces. It sports a large 480 x 320 HVGA displayand a 3.1-megapixel camera. It has up to 8GB of memory which is quite hefty, and can be used for 5 hours of talktime or 130 hours of standby.
